Standard First Aid Registration
This refresher course is designed for individuals who already hold a valid (non-expired) Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification and need to renew it. This streamlined, nationally recognized program reinforces key skills and knowledge, giving participants renewed confidence to respond to real-world emergencies at work, home, or in the community.

Duration:
7 hours in-class
Students must hold a current, non-expired Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification to be eligible for this recertification program.
Review and practical application of:
Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
The Check, Call, Care approach
Airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies
CPR Level C and AED usage
Wound care and bleeding control
Head, neck, and spinal injury response
Bone, muscle, and joint injuries
Sudden medical emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Updates to treatment standards and best practices
To successfully recertify, participants must:
Demonstrate all required skills and critical steps
Achieve a minimum score of 75% on the written knowledge evaluation
Attend and participate in 100% of the course activities
Receive a renewed 3-year certification in Standard First Aid & CPR Level C, issued digitally by the Canadian Red Cross.
