Join us for a Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C)

This comprehensive, nationally recognized course provides participants with the confidence and skills to respond to emergencies in the workplace, at home, or in the community. Through a mix of interactive instruction and hands-on training, you’ll learn how to recognize and manage airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies, treat wounds, and handle sudden medical and environmental emergencies.

Duration:

• CPR C: 7 hours in-class + 8 hours online learning

Course Content

• Introduction to the Canadian Red Cross

• Preparing to respond and the EMS system

• Check, Call, Care approach

• Airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies

• First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest

• Wound care and bleeding control

• Head, neck, and spinal injuries

• Bone, muscle, and joint injuries

• Sudden medical emergencies

• Environmental illnesses and poisoning

• Additional topics as required by provincial legislation

Completion Requirements

• Demonstrate all required skills and critical steps

• Minimum 75% on the written knowledge evaluation

• Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Certification

Earn a 3-year certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, issued digitally by the Canadian Red Cross.
